Today I took my SIL and my mom & we looked at what seemed like hundreds of bm dresses. We finally narrowed it down to 3. I'd love to hear your opinions.
Colors: ribbon: turquoise w/ blush ribbon (JH) Rooster dress: peri/sky JH chiffon: Turquoise/lilac or Turq. over Lime
Pls let me know your comments & why something is your first choice.

ETA: my SIL is tall/average...the most flattering dress on her was the 3rd, the LEAST flattering was the first b/c if you have any type of tummy at all, the satin hugs it.
I'm not thrilled w/ the color on the top one....
The 2nd one was flattering b/c the side pull hides your tummy & SIL said it was light/airy, as was the 3rd.
I'd really like to at least have it between 2 b/4 I take ALL my bm. 5/6 are tall/slimmer, while 1 is a little heavy.
ALSO, last Q, for MOH, what would you do different? On ribbon dress, was thinking, diff. ribbon color, on 2nd one, u could have dress w/o 'rooster' hanging & 3rd one I was thinking reversing the 2 colors...good?

Can you write which of the 2 remaining dresses you like?
SIL & I were talking & that top ribbon dress would not have been flattering on all & we weren't crazy about the color choices.
i like the first one the best, very simple, looks a-line would look good on any figure. the second one is nice too, but it would draw attention to someone who is trying to hide any flaws on their sides, i like the gathered look in the middle though. the third one is iffy because if it doesn't fit right it will bunch up in certain areas

I like the first one. I'm into 2-tones because I think they soften the starkness of a long dress.

I like #1 and #2. But #1 is good for all body types IMO. It's very pretty, simple but elegant.

I don't know the body types of your BM's but #1 and #3 look like they theyre not very forgiving on the rolls (if you know what I mean). I think you need to have them try on all three dresses to get a better idea.

I love the first one BUT only if you have a perfect body- I don't and would be conscious of my belly bulge the whole day.
#2 is the most flattering and looks the most comfortable. I love the style too! SO that got my vote.

I voted for the #3. You like bloth the colors light blue and green so you can have your MOH in the other color. I hoped I helped.
IMO satin is very hard to wear if your body is less than perfect...plus #2 and #3 are both dresses you could wear again- not too bridesmaid-y

I really like the second dress.....love the ruffles going down the side like that!! Very pretty. The first one is nice too. Either one would work. Good luck in making your decision!!

I totally agree w/ what you wrote too.
SIL said exactly that...both of these dresses are not bridesmaid-y.
Personally I'm leaning more toward 3
My mom LOVES the 2nd one & my SIL's top choice was #1, hence my dilemma.
I also would rather NOT give all the girls a choice b/c I don't want hard feelings/drama & also b/c then the colors could vary so much. I'd rather know...
