They didnt even look at mine. I had it out and everything. The guy made me write my name on a voters card and the woman went by what I wrote. It was weird to me.

not really. i had it out and just gave it to them but they obviously didnt look at it b/c they were looking up my name using my first name instead of my last. lol

I don't recall ever having to show ID - they seem to just go by signature.

In NYS, you only are required to show ID where you are newly registered to vote. Otherwise, you should not be asked to show ID. (Of course, always a good idea to bring it with you)

i gave it to her even though she didn't ask - to me you should check my id no question of who i am even with a signature.

I just changed voting locations and they didn't ask for my ID either. They did ask for my ID when i voted in the 04 location.

Nope they didn't ask for it....I don't recall having to show it other than maybe the first time I voted.

I never had to show an ID before. Usually they just have my name printed and I sign next to it. That's all.

I just changed my address in September and all I had to give was my street name and my last name. No ID.
