I am a registered voter, but since the last election I've moved AND changed my name. Am I still registered to vote, or do I have to rereegister? How would I check something like this - DMV? Thanks!!

You're still registered but you have to change your address and name since your district has probably changed as well. What county do you live in?

I still live in Nassau County, but moved from Seaford to East Meadow about 2 years ago. I checked for th enew location to vote and it looks like I'll go to Mineola, but I wasn't sure how to go about changing my info. I'm updating my license this week at DMV, I was hoping I could update my voter registration info there at the same time?

Oh definitely! Didn't realize you were already going to the DMV. There will be a little box at the top of the form that asks if you would like them to notify the voter board of your changes. Just check yes and you're good to go!

I just changed my name at the dmv this week, there is a little tear off portion on the bottom of the form to change your voter registration.
