For those of you who did these...did you use tea lights or candles? I am testing them right now, and the one with the tealight is making the glass very hot. The one with the candle is very hot to reach over, so I am worried about people getting burned when they go to reach for them.
What did everyone use?

i bought votives with the candle already in them... since the candle was higher, there was more of an area to hold onto...
