Anyone out there ever been to a wedding with the votive placecards? Were they lit for the cocktail hour? My FH thinks that people will have a hard time finding their names and that some will get burned...Has this ever happened to anyone?

They're not difficult to look through at all, and they should be lit no more than 15 minutes before the reception. Your hall will do it for you.
