Re: VOTIVES???????
I bought the labels they sell in Michael's. I tested it out the other day and it looked nice. ETA: they're vellum and have a double heart towards the center of the top

Re: VOTIVES???????
I want to make them too....how do we stick the vellum to the glass? I heard you have to be careful with which glue or tape you use because when the votive gets hot some glues or tapes wont stick?

Re: VOTIVES???????
i bought the holders from ac moore bc they dont have a taper or flare to them. then i measured it and made a template in word using the drawing toolbar. i think i fit four labels per sheet. i inserted my monogram, printed it on vellum, cut, and stuck them on using permanent double sided tape.

Re: VOTIVES???????
I tried to do those for my wedding. I had a really hard time because no Micheals stores in the area carried the right sized votive holder for the precut vellum. I think they may need to be special ordered which is something I didn't have time to do. I did try 2 different sized votive holders and neither of them looked right. After hours of cutting and pasting, I gave up. Don't let this happen to you. Make sure you have the right size votive holders. Good Luck!
