Votives on Sale @ Michael's

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know Michael's has votives on sale--3 for $1! They look fairly nice also. This is without the candle of course.

FH and I must have looked like lunatics last night. We got there shortly before closing and we found one we liked, loaded up a box, then we noticed another style that we liked better, so we unloaded the box and loaded it again!

Yeah, they seem to be having some decent sales this week. Including ribbon, the brand 'Spool of Ribbon' is on sale 3 for $1. I stocked up

I got a great sale on votives....6 for $1

It was at the Dollar King in Deer Park on Commack Road across from the Kohl's shopping center.

Are they frosted or clear?

Also, are they fairly thick? I heard horror stories of guests getting burned.

No I actually bought the votive candles. The holders I got were clear from AC Moore.

Girlies....I did a test run to see how long the candle would actually burn and make sure it was atleast 4 hours (for the reception). And it was!!!

Oh ok so the sale is for votive candles and not the votice holders...gotcha

The sale I went to was for the holders, though I guess we should test one. The candles are separate. They seemed reasonably thick--I doubt they are going to burn anyone.
