VOWS

Hey 04 brides to be

I HOPE ALL IS DOING WELL, AND EVERYTHING IS COMING OUT NICE FOR EVER ONE. SO I JUST FINISHED MY VOWS
JUST WANTED TO GET SOME FEEDBACK ON IT
Rob, from this day forward, I will be here for you.
From this day forward I vow to never stop appreciating you. I will always be grateful for the value you bring to our marriage everything you provide, everything you enhance, all is better because of you.
From this day forward I vow to make the most of each day with you.
Cherishing you forever was a promise I happily made today, I’ll master the art of keeping this promise.
friendship is one of the biggest part of our relationship that inspires trust, loyalty, and also so much laughter, when all else fails being each other’s best friend will keep us together, therefore I vow to nurture and enhance the qualities of our friendship.
remembering our special occasions and by making them meaningful, your birthday holds a special place in my heart because you were born to be with me.
I vow to forever honor you sharing in your enthusiasm and excitement enhances your special moments and shows that I’m truly proud of all your goals and accomplishments, no matter how great or small
I vow to be open and clear about my feelings is as much a show of love as being open to new ideas that inspire a lively marriage
I vow to enjoy proving that my partner and our family are the most significant relationships in my life
Rob from this day forward no matter what difficulties you face in life you’ll always know that compassion is found at home
Rob no matter how difficult it may seem to please others you’ll always know that simply the sight of you brightens my day
I promised to forsake all others at our wedding because I love you above all others and chose to be with you and only you. Now, let’s be sure to keep that promise alive
Rob self esteem, reliability, flexibility, humor, and contentment are just some of the personal traits needed by both partners in order to form a solid relationship. Because I understand this, I pledged to you at our wedding to strive toward being the best I can be throughout our marriage
Rob the last thing would be I do believe we are soul mates who found and recognized each other then fell completely in love. We became each other’s better half of a remarkable couple and now we’re partners in the ultimate of marriage.
I love you Rob

I KNOW IT'S REALLY LONG
WHAT DO YOU THINK

Re: VOWS

In all honesty, and this is what my officiant told me, make it shorter. What you wrote is awesome, honest and meaningful, but, and this is just my personal opinion and advice from my people, i would cut out the rob, i vow and from this day forward. our officiants told us that the shorter it is, the more memorable it will be and easier it will be on you to say it.

They are so sweet! I especially like this line:

'your birthday holds a special place in my heart because you were born to be with me.'

I think that they are beautiful. I would cosider cutting some of the Robs and I vows. I think that using his name that many times is unescassary because everyone knows his name. Other then that I think they are perfect.

LOVE IT!!!

Just wondering--are you planning on memorizing the whole thing??? I know I couldn't!!! I'd be a wreck after the first line and would probably forget the rest!

Re: VOWS

I think the vows are very loving and heartfelt, but I agree, they're too long. Why don't you try conveying the same feelings in under 4 sentences and see what you come up with. It's going to be very emotional to look at Rob in the eyes and even utter the words 'I love you.' If you try to say all of that, it will take you a long time, and as meaningful as your words are, they will start to lose their meaning. I hope you're not offended, I'm just trying to give my honest opinion. Maybe you can give Rob a card before the wedding saying some of the stuff you aren't able to include in the vows, that way it would still be something special between the two of you.
