After much arguing, I finally convinced FH that we should write our own vows. How many of you are going to be doing this? I think that it will make our wedding special and unique.

We are!!! FH and I really want to but I honestly have no idea what to say! I mean, how can I put into words the way I feel? Nothing seems suffice! This is gonna be so hard, I know I'll agonize over it right up until the big moment. Plus, he goes 1st and he's always sooooo sweet, I'm totally gonna be in tears and forget what I want to say!

I know how you feel. I don't know how I am going to get any words out, and I also have no idea to sum up my feelings in a few short sentences.... I guess I have a year to think about it!

we are doing traditional vows- probably will be the ONLY traditional part of our ceremony!!
if you do a search on amazon, i know they have alot of great books with ceremony/vow ideas.

WE ARE!!!! I started mine, but I am no wear near finished. Everytime i read a card or hear a lyric that touches me I write it down. Then I try to incorporate or change it to fit my needs. It is a good motivator.

Did you see the wedding makeover last night? She said something so pretty before they said their vows...oh i wish i could remember what it is..did anyone watch it??

We are writing our own! ... I was thinking about what I want to say to my FH in the car one day and tears just rolled down my face... I hope I'll be able to control myself on the date of our wedding

Honestly, its a beautiful gesture to write your own vows but i dont think i will. i like the traditional ones.

Yes I seen it oh lord I can't remember either I started to get teary eyed
I think it was something like I was looking for that special someone but I found you that has that special everything

I dont think that we are.....Its a Great idea but I know Michael ....He will start sweating and then be cranky .....Its a good thing I love him!

we always thought we would...but now we think no..it is so beautiful to write your own, but the nerves and tears will be too much for us... we will probably whisper something to eachother right before the vows though
