did anyone write their own vows?? im sure you girls dont want to share but if you dont mind can u post your vows you created? I want to write my own lost as where to start....i have things i want to include but i always do better if i see examples so i can get an idea how to start
We wrote our own vows. I looked at some examples online for ideas...if you search for 'wedding vows' you will find a bunch...and then we just each did our own thing and they came out SO similar it was really weird!

We wrote them... We actually wrote almost the whole ceremony. The 2 parts where you can really personalize are the part where standard is like 'do you take this man to be your husband in good times & in bad, sickness & helath...' so I re-wrote it (he owns a SCUBA dive shop & plays in a band, so that's where this comes from, it's very personal to US):
Kara, do you take Dean to be your husband? Will you love, honour, and cherish him, in good times and in bad, listen to him play guitar whether it’s Elliott Smith or Big Bill Brunezy, when he smells like chlorine & is all pruney and do you promise to stay true to him as long as you both shall live?
and then the actual VOWS:
I Kara, take you Dean, to be my husband. You are my soulmate, my best friend and my love. I want to fall asleep in your arms every night and wake up to your kisses every morning. From today until the end of forever plus 10 days, I will love you. I will be true to you, I will compromise if we disagree, take care of you if you’re sick, guide you if you feel lost, respect your feelings, encourage you to reach your goals, support you in your decisions, comfort you in sorrow, celebrate with you in happy times. I’ll make you laugh if you’re sad, and laugh with you when you’re glad. Whether we have a little, or have a lot, we’ll have it all because we have each other. Like the ocean ebbs and tides, our love will flow through us so long as we both shall live.

Awww!!! Thank you!!! I think it's the best part of the wedding!! I loved putting how I feel about Dean into words - the hard part was keeping it short!
