i really wanted to write our own, but i thought about the crying-thing. my mom had a thought though...she said if you practice them as if you're really doing it every time, maybe you'll get the tears out then, and by the time you're up there doing it for real, you won't cry AS much.

We're just doing traditional vows. I want to write my own but I feel like I could never put in words how I feel about him and then knowing me I would go back over and over afterwards thinking...I should have said this or that...blah blah blah

FH wants to write our own...I'm on the fence. I don't do public speaking (my luck I'll shake or cry or forget half of it) but I think it's a beautifu idea.

FH is SUCH a good writer! he wants to write them....i just worry b/c i have SUCH a hard time putting what i want to say into the right words so that it sounds good. i will have to see.

well if thats the only thing holding you back you shouldn't worry, i mean whether its tradition vows or you write your own you are gonna talk up there in front of everyone regardless
