Vows bridal salon.
I went to vows yesterday and thought I'd review my experience.
My mom wanted to go there because she was buying my dress and wanted the chance to buy me a dress she wouldn't normally be able to afford.
My appointment was at 10am and we arrived at about 9:50. They don't open till ten so we waited outside with the other girls with 10am appointments.
When we went in there was a girl at the front desk and consultants standing next to her, as she checked brides in she assigned them a consultant.
My consultant was Geraldine who I was comfortable with because she is so nice. She showed me the layout of the store including where the larger sizes were since I'm not exactly a size two.
They give you 5 pink tickets that you put on the bag with the dress and hand to someone who works there to put in your room.
My mom, fmil, moh and I picked dresses we liked and we went I'm to the room to try them on.
The dresses we picked were pretty but after the first two didn't wow anyone Geraldine pulled a dress for me. As soon as I stepped into it I knew I loved it. When I saw myself in it I knew for sure.
When we got back to the hotel last night I checked for issues since they are off the rack you can never be to careful. I found one issue that can be easily fixed. And in the long run even with a weekend in Massachusetts the dress was cheaper than retail price by a substantial amount.
I highly recommend a trip up there to anyone who is looking for a dress.
