We are and I have a question. I have been to wedding where it is done one of two ways the couples say their vows to one another and then they I, ________ take you ________as the priest, pastor, minister officiant prompts them.
Then I was just doing some research online on how to start writing my own vows and it looks like most of the options incorporate the promises to each other in the vows, so you wouldn't necessarily repeat the religious vows after the pastor. What are your thoughts?? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Vows Question
We are writing our own vows and we are not going to have the priest prompt us....going to try to memorize them or write them down on a nice paper and read it to my FH.

Re: Vows Question
we are going to do our own vows also - then maybe something more traditional right before we exchange rings - we plan on having the vows we write on paper so we can read off of it....
