VYC Brides

I was just wondering where you girls are going to take your pics. Obviously I want to take some at VYC, but I wanted to go somewhere not to far inbetween church and reception to take pics...any ideas? Thanks girls!

I hear the Bayard Cutting Arboretum is very close, and it's beautiful. There's also Argyle park, but not as nice, I think. I didn't know Vanderbilt was close- I might look into that!

Same thing with me....of course, the weather plays a big part...we want to make the sunset on the water, but if it's a rainy day, we may check out the Holtsville Ecology Site; they have a greenhouse/greenhouses (not sure, haven't seen it yet) and I believe there is no fee...you just have to make a reservation.

If it's nice out, we will most likely do Argyle Park which is not too far away...

You know, I made a comment previously that Argyle Park was not as nice, but I have to say, in a recent Bride Review, she did her pics at Argyle, and they are beautiful!!!

I looked into Westbury Gardens, because I'd like to take pics indoors so I don't risk the weather at all. However, I've been told that it's pretty far, so I'm concerned. I don't know!

We are doing Argyle Park -- weather permitting and of course VYC - it's part of why we chose it.
