VYC, CLM, Battery Gardens, Central Park Boathouse

I've read plenty of posts on VYC and CLM but does anyone know of anything good or bad about Battery Gardens or CP Boathouse....any input is greatly appreciated. I will not get offended if it's bad...I promise.

Also, does anyone know prices???? Looking for Fall 2008.

I have been to CP Boathouse, soooo pretty! I was quoted $185pp but that was for May 07. I've gone there several times for my company's holiday party and the food is great.

CLM is gorgeous! and the service is amazing, I would definitely recommend going there.

When I was planning my wedding - since it was in such a short time (about 6 weeks) - they quoted me $140pp. This would have been for a wedding in November and I called them in mid-September. I hope that gives you an idea, at least.

My wedding was original booked at Battery Gardens. I believe it is about $185 pp for Sat night. Cheaper in the colder months. I originally booked it bc it was one of the more reasonably priced places in NYC at $150 pp. When I changed my wedding date to May they wanted $185 which I knew I could get at Bridgewaters so I changed.

I had my holiday party at Battery Gardens and was glad I am not having my wedding there now. The food was just okay and the room is was kind of small for my taste.

Thanks!!! I've been to Battery Gardens for a holiday party and it was buffet (wasn't that thrilled about it but I excused it b/c it was buffet). I thought maybe it was different for weddings...where did you book?
