FH and I are going this weekend to see the VYC for the second time. It is def. one of our top choices (I think top of tops lol) I am wondering if anyone has anything good/not so good to say about VYC and if anyone negotiated with them how they did it?

We loved having our wedding there, they were great. I negotiated by telling exactly what my situation was: I wanted to get married there more than anything but my parents wanted me to go to a cheaper place. I asked what the lowest they could do was...

My brother got married there and everything was perfect!!!! Gorgeous place, great food, and service!!! You would have nothing at all to worry about.

This was part of my top 5, but we decided on the surf club instead for location reasons (it was the middle for everyone). But VYC is BEAUTIFUL!! I say book it!

We kept going back there as well....so happy that's where we booked. We were able to get the price down slightly as well. Good luck!

She knew we REALLY wanted to book there and after a few emails and calls we were lucky enough to meet 1/2 way on a pp price. Who have you been dealing with?

I'm getting married there next May. We are using all three rooms and our minimum is 160. We didn't even try to negotiate on the amount per person cause we're getting married on a Friday and there was already such a big difference in the price from a Friday wedding to a Saturday wedding. But now looking back we probably should have tried to negotiate a little lol.

Yeaaay for VYC. Im getting married there in August. think if you have a bigger number for the downstairs room (i.e. a number close to their capacity) they would be willing to give you a good price pp.
