VYC Wedding Review...
hey girls, i wanted to give a quick review of a wedding i went to at VYC...
CH: we were a little late, so CH was ok...no passed horsorderves (SP) but i guess that was their package. pasta station was good, i had penne alla vodka, which tasted fine..ex-FH and ex-BM had this what looked like pasta rice stuff and they said it was really good. only prob i had was that the door was open and it was freezing, but that was not VYC's fault. I saw Giani the BM (who me and my mom met with) a few times throughout the night. drinks were good, service nice..white glove, very nice
so then the lights go on....and its time for the
Reception: we walked in and found our table easily (right by the bar..amen to that) now this is where it gets tricky...the bride and groom is polish and so was 99% of the guests, so naturally there was a polish band. which is difficult bc we had no clue what was going on!! there was a bottle of vodka and shot glasses at the tables so you know...when in rome!! ex-FILs were there so i was uncomfortable so i told our table drink boy (who was a cutie) to keep my drinks coming and dont stop them (he didnt!) food was ok, salad i didnt eat (it was mixed greens with balsamic) but ex-FH liked it. i got filet minigion med. rare and it was a little tough, ex-FHs was good though. there were some complaints about the filet mingion from others at our table. ex-BMs gf got veg. lasagna and she said it was fine. drink service was good, food service fine as well. bartenders were adorable, i loved them!!! they didnt use any vendors that VYC reccomends, so no reviews on that. i adore the VYCs look so it was beautiful, table was set up fine, i couldnt see the sweetheart table, but that wasnt a huge issue. cake was ok, im not sure if VYC offers the cake as a part of the package, but it was just ok.
so i think that is my review...wasnt so quick i guess, sorry. and as a disclaimer, i dont want to offend anyone or their choice of RH..it was lovely and there were no major issues with anything, except the steak was a little tough. otherwise, VYC was very nice.
