How many weddings will you be attending before your own wedding? Are you in any? Do you think you will use these other weddings to gather inspiration?

Let's see since I've been engaged I've been to 3 and I have another one next sat, thenJuly, aug and sept. My cousin is getting married in aug and I'm a bm in her wedding. I probably won't gather inspiration at the weddings because I pretty much know what each one had or is having already.

I've been to about 13 weddings in the last 3 years and I've been in 5 of them. I've definitely learned a lot about what I like and what I don't like from going to all of them. It definitely made it easier to pick out a RH since I've been to so many.

No weddings before mine. My friend's is 2 months after. I wish I had a wedding before to get some ideas!! I'm the first of my close girl friends to get married, and I've never been in a wedding.

I'm a BM in my sister's wedding this July, we have a friend wedding in one week after that, FH's cousin gets married in August, and I'm the MOH in my best friend's wedding in October. For the weddings that I'm in, we're all really involved, so I think we're all getting inspiration off of each other!
The first 9 months FH and I were dating (back in like 2007/2008), we went to SIX weddings in those nine months. FH and I were each in one of those. We were extremely poor those nine months.

Let's see:
I am the MOH in my matron of honors wedding in Rochester on 10/10/10
November 2010 - we have a wedding in CT where FH is a groomsman
April 2011 - we have a wedding for FH friend (neither of us is in it) and one in FL where FH might be a groomsman
May 2011- our wedding
September 2011 - one of my bridesmaids wedding
But since we have been engaged we have been to 8 weddings - 2 of which I have been in and 2 have been out of state LOL

Since I have been engaged, I have been in one wedding last June, FH is going to be a GMs in our friend's wedding in April, and then both FH and I will be in his brother's wedding this May. We also have another friend's wedding in October of this year, which will be the first wedding both FH and I can attend as guests which is going to be a change for us LOL.
I believe that's all the weddings before ours, unless someone gets engaged and decides to do a shotgun wedding.

I am going to 5 weddings this summer before ours! Four of them are upstate, one in Rochester and three in Oswego, and the last one is on LI. FH is in the three of those in Oswego. I'm not in any of them, thank goodness!

we've been to one since we got engaged... as far as I know, we have 3 before we get married, unless something pops up which you just never know!
one in March 2010 one in April 2010 one in October 2011
we're not in the 2010 weddings and I doubt we'll be in the Oct 2011 wedding. I will def use these weddings as inspiration. I always make mental notes of things I liked/didn't like and what the guests opinions were bc its good to see what other ppl think to try and make them happy at ur wedding.

FH and I have weddings in April and September of this year. I am a BM in the wedding in September (FSIL). I will def use these weddings as inspiration for my own. I already know a lot of details I want but I'm always open to new ideas.

I think I'll be attending 2 weddings before mine. I dont want to take any ideas from any weddings that I'll be going to b/c I feel like some brides dont like that. Plus, I already have my own inspirations that I have in mind and hope to pull off!!

We have 4 weddings this year so its going to be an expensive one. I am not in any but FH is a GM in one. I will definitely be taking notes on those days

Same here! I've only been to 2 weddings in the last 7 years. Everyone I know is either married already or not getting married for a few years.

I am going to.... 11 Weddings in 2010!!
I am in 1 and 1 is a destination wedding. I still can't believe how many I have. I'm hoping I don't make anymore friends lol. This is my breakdown:
1 in February 2 in March 2 in July (1 is destination) 1 in August 3 in September 1 in October 1 in November (I'm in that one)
One of the weddings in September is at my RH so I will def be gaining some insight on my wedding! Very thankful for that opportunity.

Basically all my fh and my friends are married or will be married by time we get married.we wanted to get married sooner but with all the money weve been or will be spenidng it was nearly impossible. I am thankful i can get ideas or what i wouldnt want or tips for great vendors. :)

I will be going to 5 weddings before mine next June. One is my brother's in October, and I'm a BM in that wedding. I don't think I'll get inspiration for any of the weddings. I'm very picky, and will probably find little things wrong, or think it should be done differently. I like everything done my way... but we'll see lol

I've been to two (hs friend and an older cousin). I'll be going to one oct 2010 and that's bout it for now!
But I feel the engagement dam about to bust...I'm the first of my close circle of friends to be engaged but quite a few are in serious relationships and they have talked about marriage . I am betting they will soon follow and it will be a tidal wave of tulle & taffetta!
