ha ha I feel the same way. One minute I am jumping up and down, next I get nauseaus about the mortgage payment, then i get anxiety over how I am going to decorate...lost of emotions!! ha ha

My walkthrough is scheduled for next Monday. Any tips on specifics to look at? I know to turn on the water, flick the switches, and check the oil tank. Anything else?

Turn on all appliances, get one of those outlet testers from Home Depot and plug it in to all outlets. Turn on all air conditioners. Open and close the windows. Make sure there is nothing left in the house, attic, garage , shed or basement. Have them show you how to light the pilot light. Have them show you how to use the washer/dryer...in case there are special instructions. Ask them if you can use powder in the dishwasher and washing machine (some places you can't because of the plumbing and sewer system), Have them show you all of the outside hoses and if there is a sprinkler system then have them show you how to turn it on and set the timer.

Ummm....If I think of more I will add.

Re: Waaa hooo!!!!!!!!!!!

yah!!

i would just make sure about silly things too like light fixtures and/or fans. when my parents bought the house they are in now, they people took all the ceiling fans and put in these cheap lights.

i cant really think of anything else

checking appliances, and outlets, ar conditioners, and ect.. should have been checked at your inspection.

the only way i would have checked any of that again was i noticed the stove was different or the air conditioner was different (ie: they may have changed it with a broken one) but other than that you should know if those all work way before your walk through. (alhtough sh!t happens lol you do never know!)

yes do make sure though that they show you all the keys, sprinkler system, and garage door opener. ect
