Weird Wedding Proposals
RALEIGH, N.C. (Wireless Flash) -- Most people don't think of a funeral as fun -- much less as an appropriate place to pop the question to your girlfriend.

But that's just what one man did -- and he's entered the story of his proposal into a contest looking for the world's most romantic marriage proposal.

Contest organizer Michael Webb -- who calls himself 'The RoMANtic' -- says the guy popped the question in front of his brother's casket because he knew his bro was looking forward to seeing him get married.

Other weird proposals submitted to theromantic.com website include a man who wrote his proposal in concrete and the guy who told his girlfriend he would only marry her if she went through the Army Reserves to improve her self-esteem.


OMG....if anyone proposed to me at a funeral, I'd have to seriously re-think what I thought of them and say no.

the things people do and say...

i have the best one...AND it actually happened to one of my BM'S...

she was the BM in a wedding last year...the church was alil warm, she was feelin alil silly from champagne...
she kept whispering to another BM..'i think im gonna pass out' and they kept tellin her to be quiet..
she finally passes out tries desperately to stay up, so she puts her weight on the photgrapher who was standing near her..she pulls him on his leg, and his pants RIP from crotch to ankle..
he now has to shoot the whole weddng this way.....he obviously didnt bank on ripping his pants off lmfao

needless to say my FH wants to hire an videographer just for her to get it on tape if it happens at our wedding lol...
i just think shes a dirty girl and shouldnt be in church!! ;) hahaha

its cheesy like 'americas funniest home videos'
but there is funny stuff sometimes

lots of unity candles setting things on fire and women embarassing themselves to get the bo-k

they just had one on where the caterer couldnt make it to the hall bc of snow so they had to order chinese food for 100 people - the bride was so calm!

Two of our fellow pool players who just got married last month was telling us that at their wedding one of their BMs got drunk and decided to become violent and was swinging her arms and trying to hit people. So one of their guests (a woman who was 300+ lbs) lifted said BM in the air and did a choke slam on her and sat on her until the cops came and arrested her.

They said somehow they just tried to ignore the whole scene and enjoy themselves!!

So one of their guests (a woman who was 300+ lbs) lifted said BM in the air and did a choke slam on her and sat on her until the cops came and arrested her.

They said somehow they just tried to ignore the whole scene and enjoy themselves!!

I missed Mike & his wife telling this story. But I can guess who the drunk BM was, and who the 300 + guest was - and you know both of them!

I'm so glad nothing like that happened at my wedding. No, we just had too much wind and I insisted on having an outside ceremony so our unity candle wouldn't light. What's that say about our marriage? Fr. Tom comforted us tho by saying 'It's ok, the flame burns inside the 2 of you'.

Oh and I've yet to hear the story behind this!!!

These are great. I was at a wedding where someone proposed on the dance floor! Who proposes at someone else's wedding?

i know a guy who proposed at his girlfriend's sister's engagement party
and then they planned the wedding for BEFORE the sister! lol
