My parents just got back from a trip to Mexico and stayed at one of the Palace Resorts... they signed up for some kind of vacation club and had them include honeymoon vacations for my sister and I... so my FI and I now have a weeklong, all inclusive, air fare included vacation to Mexico, thanks to my parents!!! Now we just have to decide which of the six resorts to stay at!

we have been to cancun palace but I wouldnt recommend it for honeymoon, too many kids for my liking... that reminds me, we have been to visit moon palace and they did try to sell us a timeshare, I thought I would go crazy they bothered us for over 1 hour but it is a nice property but doesnt have a nice beach (great pool though)

Cancun Palace looked like the most fun on the tape they got, but we will probably lean towards the Adventura since it is adults only... I just don't think it looks like it has the same type of atmosphere as some of the others, from the video we saw...

honestly, pick a hotel in riviera maya not cancun... cancun has hotel next to a hotel, a lot of people and no shade in site... riviera maya is so much more relaxed, hotels situated in the woods/wild... but I dont know what you are looking for in your vacation, just my opinion

They have stayed at the Moon Palace, and this time they stayed at the Moon Palace Sunrise... they loved both, although they said the Moon Palace (which they thought was gorgeous last time they were there) doesn't compare to the new addition of the Sunrise...
They also visited Xu-Pa while they were there and said it was gorgeous. It's an ecological park... they just said it is very spread out and a lot of walking.

Thank you! I am excited because we had been looking there anyway... and its like a big weight lifted off of our shoulders because its one less big expense!!
