Wait - I bustle my dress for the cocktail hour, right?

I have a case of bride brain, and all of a sudden i'm second guessing everything. I just have to many random thoughts going through my mind!! I bustle the dress for my cocktail hour right??

Hey,

You bustle your dress for the reception usually after the first dance. Some people bustle it before they enter in with the bridal party. It depends on your preference. I will bustle mine before I walk in at the reception.

You wear your train down for the ceremony and for the pictures. Hope this helps!

I've seen brides bustle after their first dance but I plan to bustle mine before cocktail hour too. I just think it would be easier and as long as it was down for the pictures, I'm fine with it. After the pics, it's time to party and I want to be comfortable so it's gettin' bustled! LOL

I bustled my dress the minute DH and I got out of the limo back at my parents' house for pictures. I didn't want to drag it around....you're so cute. You sound just like I did before the big day.

i bustled up right after the ceremony. no need for the dress to drag on the floor durning the ch. people might step all over it. wait not might they will!

Your not the only one. I find myself questioning everything and this was one of them. I guess to the ceremony it's going to be bustled until I walk then after the ceremony I'll bustle it again for pictures and take it off when I want to take pictures of myself in it and then I'll have it bustled for the reception. I'm scared of tripping on my dress during the first dance.

I've heard sooooo many past brides say that if you're going to the CH you should bustle your dress so that people don't step on it. Nevermind getting it dirty but you wouldn't want it to rip!!
