wait until you read these nutrition facts.....

I'm reading one of my nutrition magazine and it's giving quicks facts on various foods serving-size tricks......

Stouffers Mac & Cheese: 320 cal, 7g sat fat, 970mg sodium (that's for one serving-----the those numbers are for 2/3 of each petite box) [480 cal per box, 11g sat fat, 1,460mg sodium]

Chips ahoy: 160 cal in a serving, but only 80 cal in serving of peanut butter chip ahoy. Thats because the serving for regular is 3 cookies, while the serving for peanut butterf chips ahoy is 1 cookie.

Boboli: packs 2 personal size crusts into the package. But the nutrition factslabel a serving as half an 8' crust. Eat an entire crust and it's 400 calories, not 200 cals.

Soda/Juice/teas: if you buy a standard 20-ounce bottle, you're going to drink it yourself. What if the label says that a bottle contains 2 1/2 (8-oz) servings? Coke really has 250 cals, not 110.

Ramen: one serving is 1-cup, that's 1/2 the package. Like most, you usually eat the whole package....that's 380 cals, 8 gm sat fat, 1,780mg sodium (It's like eating a quarter pounder with half a teaspoon of salt sprinkled on it)

Boston on Market Chicken Pot Pie: A serving of pot pie is 1cup, 1 pie serves 2 people! 1,140 cal, 32 g sat fat!

Oh Boy!!! Really read your food labels

A lot of people miss the 'servings per container' information - it makes a huge difference in what you actually ate for the day!!
