Waiting and waiting and waiting...

We signed the contract 2 weeks ago and we are still waiting for the seller to sign. This is torture! I can't stand it. Anyone else wait this long for the seller to sign? She lives in another state but I would think they could fax or overnight it to her. I am so nervous.

My aunt is going through this with a seller one town away. I don't know hoe common it is but I just wanted to wish you luck.

Thanks everyone. I am completely on edge and cannot concentrate at all. My heart is beating fast and I cannot wait for the phone to ring to tell me it was signed. I just keep having visions of us in that house. I will keep you posted. to all!

we haven't gone through the process yet, but aren't you supposed to give them a deadline date/time to sign?

I guess you can give them a deadline if you are willing to walk away from the deal. But that is not part of the normal process.
