Wake up!

Wake up!

With less then 3 weeks to the wedding my fh gets a call from his brother telling him that he has 2 choices either allow his TWIN 10 month old babies to the wedding or his wife can't come. What is wrong with people?? Helllooo we told you 8 months ago that the reception is no place for babies. The music is loud, there's no changing station or place for that big bulky DOUBLE stroller.
some people!!

Re: Wake up!

ok so i am in no way in support of having children at weddings, but i would imagine that it would be difficult to have someone watch 1 10 month old, let alone twins. they may not have a great family support (ie, having a family member watch the kiddies) and they may not have a reg sitter....

at least you didnt give your final count yet. i think he did it the right way, rather than tell you 3 days before the wedding.

I wouldn't even want to take 10 month olds to a wedding.

I would not have given you the option...if I was that mom I would just stay home and apologize for not being able to go....they shouldnt make you make that decision

Re: Wake up!

Well the sister was suppose to watch them but now all of sudden she has some party that she has to go to. I think its all BS...because they rented a hotel room for the night and I was questioning fh about who would watch them for an overnight. To much work....you know. Plus fmil wanted them there from the start.

I would not be happy. They are 10 months old...it is not a place for them.
