Walking down the aisle...

So I dont have a dad to walk down the aisle with... will it be weird to have my 13 yr old brother to walk me instead?

I dont think so. Its your wedding. You can have anyone you want walk you down!!! I think it is a great idea!!

I have a 14 yr old brother, and If my dad couldn't I would definitely have my brother walk me down the aisle!

my father passed away in '04 so my brother walked me down the aisle. it was really nice and i think our dad would've been incredibly proud. :) i say go for it!

i think that is fine. my dad is deceased also and i was going to have my 12 almost 13 year old son walk me but my stepdad is doing instead.

My dad is also deceased and I have no brothers. If I did, I think my dad would be proud. Instead I am having my mom walk me down. It is your wedding, whatever you want. There is no right or wrong, as long as it makes you happy!

I think that's a great idea. Very sweet and i guarantee that people would think that its touching, especially knowing your father is no longer here. I know if my dad weren't here my brother would do that.
