Walking down the aisle

Hello.. i'm wondering if anyone has ever been to or is thinking about using a different type of music while walking down the aisle...

i'm thinking about using a song instead of using a classical instrumental piece when i walk down the aisle... what do you girls think? tia!!

We are considering that. I would check with your venue, though. I know some churches don't allow you to get too creative (my aunt's church would only let her walk down to a religious song or an insturumental). if that's the case, maybe you can just walk down to the instrumental version of a song you really like?

I am definitely thinking about it.... I'm going to need lots of time and maybe help from my DJ to figure out what song though....

I think thats a great idea, there are so many songs that are off the beaten path and have a pretty instrumental. i am walking down the aisle to the first 60 seconds of Nothing Else Matters by Metallica - i know it sounds weird, but if you have it, listen to it. Its all instrumental and so dramatic and beautiful

For the ceremony the mothers and DH walked in to an instrumental of 'Mama' by Boyz to Men, the rest of the bridal party came into an instrumental of 'Kiss From a Rose' by Seal and I walked into 'At Last' by Etta James. It was the actual song not an instumental.
