Walking down the aisle..

This is probably a stupid question, but I actually do not know the answer .

Are you using the music with words to the song or just the music?

What is producing the music?
A band?
Dj?
solo piece?
boom box?

Gosh, we haven't even sat down to decide.
We're getting married at the RH, so the DJ will play.
I wanted someone with a harp, but it's not in our budget.
I know I am not using the traditional wedding march or the 'here comes the bride' song. Can't stand it!

If it's a church they provide the music with the organist..reception hall I'm not to sure of I've only been in and to weddings in a church..hopefully this somewhat helps

It is at the reception hall.

My potential band will have a keyboardist for ceremony if I want, but I didnt know if that is common or if people have the words to music as well.

Ours is all instrumental for the Ceremony...
Our DJ will be playing it for us!

Its probably more of your prefence then i would think...and it would be nice and different if the music had words..i think so at least lol

We are getting married at the RH and have a string Trio for the ceremony. Christmas Canon is high on our list for walking... no words

We're getting married at the RH and we paid an extra $150 to have the keyboardist of the band play for the ceremony.

Me too! But our guy is also singing the words to the songs. I chose the songs in part for the lyrics, so I wanted people to hear them!

my church allows us to use other music to walk down the aisle.. i am going to burn it to a cd and during the rehearsal make sure the sound levels and everything are set
