My parents are divorsed and I don't speak to my father so I was going to have my mom walk me down the isle. We were talking about the wedding and she mentioned to me that she was thinking of having different people walk me down the isle. She was thinking of having the people who helped raise me walk me down the isle. For example, my aunt and uncle would walk me down part, my god mother would then walk me down some, then my grandma and then my mom would walk me down the rest of it. I absolutely loved this idea because they all did help raise me and I think it would be really nice for them to have a part in walking me down the isle. I just don't know what people would think of this and also I really don't know how it would work. I'm getting married at St. Patricks in Bayshore, and I'm wondering if the isle is even long enough for this to be pulled off. I'd love it if you girls could let me know what you think of the idea and give me some ideas on how to pull it off. Thanks!!

Re: walking down the isle
You should do what makes you happy, and if you really want to do that then see how it can be worked out...Dont worry about what others will think, that is your moment to walk down the aisle. Others can do what they want when they do things.
