What is your BP walking down to? What are you walking down the isle to? How about after the ceremony? TIA! I am 'trying' to figure out our ceremony music and I am stumped

Most likely doing the same... even if I change any of them, they'll still fall under the 'standard church' category...

Re: Walking down to?
I am doing traditional music since i'm getting married in a church I can't get creative. But the bridal party is walking down to Canon in D, I'm walking to the traditional Bridal Chorus, and then afterwards we're exiting the church to the Wedding March

Re: Walking down to?
I am going to see if the church will let me walk down to an instrumental version of a popular (non-church) song first, but if they don't allow it than the BP and Myself will be walking down to Canon in D. As far as the recessional, I am not sure yet.

Re: Walking down to?
How about music that doesn't necessarily need to be at the church? I'm getting married @ my reception site and its a Jewish wedding. I have no clue about what music to choose!

Re: Walking down to?
The only song we've decided so far is Beautiful Day by U2, most likely the recessional. I don't think I want all the traditional songs but I can't think of too many that are appropriate! My FSIL walked in to At Last, which was really nice, but I can't use it cuz she did!

Re: Walking down to?
I'm thinking Canon in D, and haven't decided if I want it for me and the BP or just me.
Even if I did want the Bridal March, I'm Jewish, so it's out.
Should the bride have a different song than the BP??

Re: Walking down to?
We used Canon in D for the bridal party.
I walked down the aisle to Trumpet Voluntary.
The recessional music was Ode to Joy

Re: Walking down to?
I wanted to do something really different, so I'm most likely having my friend play a cello version of Canon in D for the bridal party and then it will transition into a shortened instrumental version of 'Plainsong' by the Cure for my entrance. Clip here: The Cure - Plainsong
I have no idea what the recessional will be though.
