John Anthony is walking more and more each day! Now he is taking 4-6 steps from one couch to another, and then doesnt even fall just yet. He'll stand there for another 2 seconds, and THEN slowly lose that balance and fall on his tushie! This is happening too fast !!

The walking milestone is an important one. He just wants to reach it faster than mommy wants. He sounds like he is well on his way to being a runner.

I thought we were going to call this kind of walking 'stepping' ...so that Mommy doesn't have to be sad that her little baby is growing up!
As long as there is a drop down on the toosh I am going with STEPPING! He's just stepping!!!

Way to go JA! Anna, I am right there with you. Annalise used to be too scared to let go of the furniture. She recently got the courage to let go and was able to walk two steps on her own to me. The poor dog is going to start being chased sooner than I ever dreamed. I hope she does not start stepping like JA for a few months.

My nephew Matthew, who'll be ONE on Friday is just getting the nerve to *let go*!!! It's so cute!! When he's not aware that he's on his own, he'll walk, but when he knows someone let go of his hand, he plops on his butt!! They're so adorable!!
