wall decorating...

this may sound like a dumb question but I never had the knack for this part of decorating...

We just redid the bedroom with antique gold walls and a wood floor with a cherry tint to it. The furniture is dark cherry wood.

What kind of frames do I use for the room? I didnt want to use gold cause I thought they didnt look right plus I didnt want to use black cause I just dont like them. Can I use cherry? Do they all have to match? HELP

You can definately use cherry. If your art is part of a series try to stick to the same frame otherwise you dont have to use the same exact frame. Personally I like one frame finish and mat color if there are a few pics on one wall but you can do what ever pleases your eye.
