Wands?

Wands?

Hi Girls,
Ok,so you know when the bride and groom are announce and come running in to the hall, the bridal party holds up these wands with ribbons and things...where do I get these or if I don't, what do I do....

Do you guys have any idea what I'm talking about???

I posted this on BHB a couple of months ago. The consensus seems to be you make them. However, one person told me there is an ebay seller of them premade.

I made mine...Heres a not so good pic..

bought dowels from Michaels and painted them. Cost me about $20 to make 45-50 of them.

I've seen other types at weddings, its almost the size of half a hoola hoop and each person holds one end of it and there is ribbon wrapped around, so when they hold it it looks like a archway

Pickles - don't laugh but I am making mine with paper towel cardboard holders. I am going to tape them together and I have purchased decorative white ribbon (the WIDE kind) to wrap around. I will then put ribbon on the end so everyone (including the kids) can hold them up as the archway.
