Wanna hear some poop?

Okay, so, I work for a tv show...but i work for the STUDIO of the tv show. its a close knit group of people.
the one man, today was his last day so they were having a lunch for him at 1pm....the time that i get off of work.
so the man who covers if the girl who comes in, in late or out, told me he would be covering bc she will be late. im like oh well i dont have class if shes only gonna be late ill stay...and hes like find out...

so i ask the office manager and she said yeah she will be back at 2:30...im lik ei can stay...she goes ooh i didnt kno if u had somethign to do. i said no...i am done with school for now. and she was like oh okay good.

it turns out. EVERYONE was invited to this lunch but me and 3 others bc we arent 'important' enough, im guessin. The worst part was, they didnt ask me to cover bc they wanted me to go home...i mean i leave at 1...the lunch was at 1 so it would have been fine. They never mentioned the lunch once to me...and didnt ask me to cover bc they didnt want me to find out..but i did.

how f'ed up is that. If i dont get the position with the show..im out.

ive never felt so unwanted.

at least you girls (Diane and Meg) arent taking it personal... I let it get to me, i would be crying in the bathroom or something.


i cried when i got home haha i held it in at work with a friend was talkin to me about it...
i went to my mom and gcried and she goes...'are u due for ur period' hahaha i laughed i was like NO! im hurt!

what are these people like? see i notice alot of people, especially at work stick to people in the same neighborhood, or people they are most like and become very cliquey


its like weird...its older men 40 and older...like id say 10...2 ladies, 2 girls around my age...and like the 2 girls around my age are totally fake to me.

some of the older men are awesome but dont have the authority to invite me...like i knew 3 of them felt bad that i wasnt going

i know i am sensitive too - i was having so much trouble at work and i would cry about it every day - it is so stressful!!!!

at my job - yesterday, our supervisor is in the hospital so they asked for volunteers to cover her work and i volunteered

so this one woman TO MY FACE says how its so good that i volunteered bc its good to show them and it will help one day when i apply for a promotion

THEN two seconds later she turns to another woman - and she started talking to HER ina quiet voice about how 'she better not think she can correct MY work bc i have been here for 20+ years blah blah blah'

i am so nervous now about everything i do!!!!

some people are just miserable with their own lives seriously and have to make everyone else around them miserable.

that explains alot lol, the 30 year old is miserable bc she sleeps around and probably can't keep a guy. And sounds like she wants all the attention at work and im sure guys pay attention to you at work so she probably hates that.

The other one is probably jealous youre engaged, see problem solved

if you've never done anything to them they have no reason to treat you like this. So the only thing i can see is that they're jealous

awwwwwwwwwwww i'm so sorry, that is so messed up.

if it makes you feel any better, that's how they treat my FH at HIS job!! like he's the stepchild of the company. we were out w some of the girls who he is actually good friends w and someone said something about someone's wedding. i told them steve and i aren't invited and they responded, 'no maybe you didn't see the invitation...EVERYONE is invited'...and then she made a face and looked said 'oh, sorry'.

it's hard but don't let it get to you. you are probably way cooler than them and it makes them feel inadequate or something. we love you HERE!!

Sorry that they left you out. I take so many things personally. That would have made me feel really bad too. Especially, that you were offering to help them out by staying late. Next time let them be screwed.

it has nothing to do with how nice you are, it all has to do with how miserable and mean they are, its their own hang ups
