I need help for a friend. She is having her sons christening next weekend and her colors are ivory and blue. Shes looking for a way to dress up the place settings at the tables. Shes making cross chocalates for the center of the plates but needs an idea for the centerpiece...something other than flowers or balloons...any ideas would be so appreciated!!!!! Thanks in advance!

How about just some cookie trays (for dessert) wrapped in colored cellophane? That's what I did for the tables at my son's christening.

I did balloons - so I am not much help
How about if you make chocolate centerpieces. I know they make large baby bottles. They were on my cake table for my baby shower

You could use a tiered plate or stacked cake stands and put goodies on the plates like cookies, candies, etc. Just take two different size cake stands and stake them -- or use a tiered plate like they have for peti-fours. I'm sure if everyone pitched in your friend could find enough of these to cover each table.
