Wanna laugh...???

My co-woker's daughter just got engaged YIPPIE

Here's the kicker, her father doesn't even know she has a boyfriend. That's gonna be some dinner when they finally meet

OMG......NO WAY..congrats to her but is her father gonna be happy? i hope so because otherwise its not as exciting when you have to explain yourself..good luck to her..

Are they estranged? How old is she? How long have they been dating?

Either sounds like their relationship isn't on the best of terms or she was sneaking around with someone her father may not have approved of...

If I were her Dad I'd be upset.

If I were her Dad I'd be upset.

She's 24 and her father doesn't approve of his two girls dating (he's just like that) The mother knew they were dating so it's kind of interesting that the father didn't

BTW... they have been dating for 4 years

We have a friend like that. He's one of our GM. He has been dating his girlfriend for about 7 years, and while her father was alive (he died a few years ago), he never knew she was dating anyone. Her mom knew, though. It was because she is Indian, and her father only wanted her to date an Indian boy. Our friend was from the wrong part of India (Astoria...its a joke we have since my FH and our 4 of our 7 GM all grew up there!)
