So I just booked a hotel for my friends wedding in September that is up by Niagara Falls. She had blocked rooms at the Days Inn there. The price? $89/night + tax. I mean, I knew it'd be cheap but wow! We're paying $155 +tax for our Holiday Inn down here

Not much of a difference in Albany. We stayed at a Best Western in Albany for a wedding in September it was like $110 a night. Our Best Western in Massapequa quoted us $112 a night in November.

It's not that much of a difference. I mean 3.5 years ago when my BM got married we stayed in the hotel and it was $99 a night. Prices have since gone up so maybe it would be a $20-$30 difference now.
