im so proud of myself so i wanted to share my invites with the 09ers! haha

I have completed 5 so far LOL (i give everyone thats making their own invites a lot of credit..because its taking forever!) anyways i figured id share some pics of my final product!

on the invites are crystal rhinestones but for some reason the pics make them look like black dots lol

the pocketfolds i got from www.cardsandpockets.com

the blue, black, and white cardstock i got from michaels (they come in packs of 50), the little rhinestones on the invites are from either michaels or ac moore (both stores have it- they are sworvoski crystal rhinestones that u can hot glue on) and the rhinestone buckle i got from jablonex (after researching a ton i found their website for the cheapest price and found out that they have a showroom in the city...i just went there thinking i was going to order it and have to come back to save on shipping but they had them all in the back and gave me then right there) http://www.jablonex.us/product/74812426cs

Jenise, did u print the invites out urself also? if so, what kind of font did u use? what kind of printer do you have? sorry for all the questions, lol want to get as much info as possible before i start my own project! lol
how did you know what size cardstock to buy? HELP! lol thanks!

haha no problem ask away!

i printed the invites on my regular printer..after a lot of printing, resizing, printing, resizing i FINALLY got it to the right size lol..i ended up making a table that just split the page in half so i was able to print 2 invites on one sheet of cardstock (my printer is a regular hp printer nothing to crazy)

the scripty font i used was renasaince (sp?) that i downloaded from dafont.com (28 font) the other font is bookman old style (10.5 font)

the cardstock i bought is the exact same size as regular computer paper i bought it from michaels... i went to ac moore but they didnt have a pack of just one color..and michaels did

hmm i think i answered everyhting but if u want u can fm me your email and i can email you my things so its easier for you to format it when its time for you to do yours

i first cut the blue cardstock to the size of the back of the pocketfold, then cut a black sheet a little bit smaller then that..and my invites are a little smaller then that (so that it has that layering effect) for the insert side i did the same thing

Your invites are gorgeous!!!!!!! I also want to use cardsandpockets. I have a question, the jablonex site says it is only wholesale. Did you have a business tax id# to use or did they still sell to you?

it is wholesale so u need to buy at least 50 of them i think...i emailed them though bc i didnt have that...i ended up just going to the city and picking them up bc i wanted to see exactly what they all looked like to see which size to pick and i saved on shipping but im sure if u email them they'll order it and ship it to u
