I went last night - I wanted my makeup done for my eng. pictures so I went to a trial last night.

Overall, I loved the makeup but I'm having 'shimmer' issues. I think there is too much shimmer. You can see in the last few pics, I removed some of the shimmer and was feeling better about it.

I never wear makeup, so it's a little getting used to...what do you think? Should I go more au natural for the eng. pics? Definitely need to reduce the shimmer and maybe reduce the pinkish cheeks.

You look gorgeous!!! I am a big fan of shimmer but i guess for E-photos you do want to look more like yourself....keep shimmer in mind for the wedding it looked awesome!!

thanks girls...i'm actually having a lot of doubts about whether i should even do it for the eng. picture.

i think it's too much for the eng. picture to be honest....esp. the shimmer.

at this point, i'd be removing a lot of blush and all the shimmer, less on the eyes, keep the lipstick, keep the eyelashes... i mean, at that point, maybe i should just do it myself.

for the wedding, tho, I am into a little more oomph.

i actually think i look really old in a couple of the shots. i am really young looking in person... so i don't know...

You have beautiful eyes, eyebrows, and (yeah, this is weird) eye/brow bones. You should have your photographer focus on your eyes and the look in your eyes when you look at your husband in your pics.

I really love the make-up trial!

I dont think its tooo shimmery....and plus is going to fade anyway as the night goes on...but DAMn it looks REALLY NICE!!!

I think you look grgeous, but I think it's a lot of makeup for e-pics. It depends on what you're doing, but those are usually a more casual look. GO with what makes you feel comfortable

Yes, I agree with the majority on here I love it and want the # to that girl who did your makeup. please post it, FM me or I can FM you. I think downplay the engagment photos with less shimmer but for the wedding you would look Amazing!!!!
