Want to honor my friends at the wedding....

Want to honor my friends at the wedding....

I have 5 friends I really care deeply for - they have helped me through so much this past year, and I would like to thank them with a song dedication...

would it be tacky to also give a brief speech thanking them? Anyone else do that or planning on doing that?

I just could not have made it thru this year or several years without them - I hope I dont embarass them!

It's sweet...and as long as it's not too drawn out...it will be really nice as an accent to the day.

IF they are coming to the rehearsal dinner I would do it then. but, if not the wedding will be a really nice gesture also. I think they will be really honoroed.

Liza you are so thoughtful! I think your idea is good BUT I also think you should consider doing it at the rehearsal dinner as well.
