Warning for girls who live in Kings Park or the surrounding areas

In such a safe neighborhood, too...right around the corner from the elementary school...i don't understand how this can happen.

What kind of parent lets their beautiful teenage daughter run a few miles at dusk - BY HERSELF?! I know this girl - she has a sister only 1 yr older...they're both excellent track stars...as safe and perfect (HAH! ) as they think KP is, something like this can happen anywhere.

That's horrible. I have friends and clients in Kings Park. This is so not heard of in that small town. . it's like a little too close for comfort. I pray for that poor girl and her family and I hope they catch that *******

he's long gone from KP... you know he took off right after the attack. This town is so small, if he was from around here, he'd be sitting in a jail cell already.

KINGS PARK, N.Y. (AP) — A 15-year-old girl jogging in her
neighborhood was abducted at gunpoint and sexually assaulted in the
suspect’s car before being freed, Suffolk County police said Tuesday.
The driver stopped his white, four-door sedan at about 6:30 p.m.
Monday to ask the girl for directions, and when she came closer he
pulled out a gun and forced her into the car, Chief of Detectives
Dennis Kane said at a news conference.
The girl was tied up, blindfolded and driven a few blocks, then
sexually assaulted, Kane said. The suspect than drove the teen back to
the spot where he picked her up and let her out of the car. The girl
ran to a nearby house and called police.
Kane said the incident did not appear to be related to another
abduction in Hauppauge last Thursday, involving a 10-year-old girl who
was forced off her bike and into a car. She also was tied up and
driven a few blocks before being released, but police do not believe
that she was sexually attacked. That suspect was described as thin and
clean shaven; the man linked to the Monday incident had a muscular
build and a goatee.

well, i don't know-- gone or not gone-- she lived and that means that she is able to give a description and have an artist do a sketch-- he was not masked otherwise they would have said that-- and they can get DNA-- so i think that they will find i'm-- i'm being optomistic... he is obviously a petaphile (sp?) and could live anywhere around the surrounding areas--- if you look on that petaphile website, where it tells you where they live, it's SCARY how many are around-- and in some of the nicest areas-- with multi million dollar homes-- and they live down the block from a registered sex offender. it's so sad but it can be ANYONE-- if you watch those dateline specials where they corner the sex offenders-- some of them are like, totally normal people-- teachers, a rabbi!!!!, firefighters, doctors, etc... so THAT is the scary part-- that it can be anyone and most of them hold good jobs and have 'normal lives'

i know....my boss just told me about that this morn.
just a couple of weeks ago a 10 or 12 (dont remember her age) but she was riding her bike in hauppauge area by RT 111
a guy kidnapped her tied her up and right before he raped/molested her he let her go...thank god that whatever mad him stop...did!!!

ppl laugh at me that i dont like to stay home
alone at night by myself, but its things like this that scare the cr*p out of me!!!!
