* warning from a phone call i just got*

i just got a call from this place saying i am getting a package with 800 dollars of airline vouchers and then went on to say they are part of my bank(bank of america and other banks where said)(washington mutual) i am like ok what do you want thinking it was a time share thing well this is where it got creepy! they said a series of numbers and proceeded to ask if i could look at my bank book and tell them if that was the routing number on my checks and i said what ummm no she then asked what where the numbers RED FLAG WENT UP! i asked for a supervisor and he got on and i told him his company had some b**** asking for that info and told him to remove me from there list. he then hung up after i told him i was calling my bank about this.

the name of the company was R&R escapes c/o great vacations value!

Please take care of your numbers! just wanted to give warning to this!

ps i did call my bank and they said they are going to take care of this!

i just think of the little old lady that gets these kinda phone calls and life savings gone in seconds!!!!!!!! i never would give out my numbers but it is scarry... i wish there was more i can do ! but with as many people on this board i am sure the word will get out!

yes they said it was a scam and asked me right away if i gave them any other numbers i said no way, they said it was a good thing cause they would have had to cancelle my accounts! ahhhh so all is good!
