Warning on mixing meds/herbal diet prodicts

Debi had taken an herbal diet product/colonic, purchased at a local vitamin store, along with her acne med., spironolactone. Three ingredients in the herbal product: horsetail,dandelion, and one other ingredient, reacted with the acne med., causing an allergic reaction, that caused a visit to the ER this weekend. Just wanted to inform you ladies about potential risks of mixing these things. Fortunately, the colonic property didn't kick in, adding insult to injury! Thanks! Mary MOB
