I was wondering if any of you ladies can help me out. I am coming from the 2013 board because we had to move our wedding date another year out. I was sad at first but it is for the best. The thing is I already sent out a save the date a few months back. I wanted to send out a new save the date with a cute saying about why we had to move the date. Can anyone help me out with some ideas? Thanks for the help! Looking forward to getting to know you ladies :)
Hey we pushed it back due to finances mostly. We have 2 small children already and I work 2 jobs. My fiance works full time and I am going back to school this month so it was a lot going on. We have been together for 8 years but we didn't start planning til about a year ago and it just wasn't enough time for us. I think I found a cute poem I want to use. 'It seems we never do things on time. So we made up this little rhyme. Because our little timing oops, Had us jumping through hoops, We've decided to delay, Our wedding to another day. Now, don't think we've changed our minds; We are just preparing for a better time!' I am going to use the same template from our old save the date but with opposite colors.
I really like that! And it stinks you had to push it back but just think that you get to enjoy your engagement even longer

I like the poem. Sorry to hear about the date change. The finacial part of wedding planning definitely is not fun.
Love the poem!! :) sorry about having to move the date, but think of it as you won't have to rush and cut things out, you'll be able to have the wedding of your dreams!
Love the poem! Sorry to hear you had to move the date. We originally wanted an October 2013 wedding but had to move it to January 2014 to give ourselves more time to save and there was such a drastic price difference.
