That is so sweet! Ok...my story is so sad....in a different way. My Dad was so drunk by the time of our dance he was just blubbering on about nonsense when I was a kid. Honestly, I was cracking up. It was really funny. It didn't bother me at all because we are all jokesters in my fam. more than sentimental...ok. That sounds bad..lol
I guess I should add that I think that dance should have been a little earlier in the reception....pre- drinking rampage. Lol

for me, it was one of the best decisions to do it in the beginning. i didn't have it hanging over my head and it was done with....i didn't have a chance to realize it was coming.
for me, it was so hard because the next day i literally left home - and moved to NJ. so, it was like this is it, my last dance with my dad and it'll never be the same again...
omg, thanks guys, i'm crying again. i'm such a wimp!

I was going to use that song for my dance with my dad, everytime I heard it I would just bawl. In the end, I chose to dance with something that wouldn't have me an emotional mess on the dance floor. Since my name is Michelle, I chose to dance with my father to the Beatles song Michelle. He loved it!

I always cried everytime I heard my song with my dad too. When the time came for our dance, my dad wouldn't stop talking about things, so there was no crying. It must be showing on the video.

I actually changed our song to a less emotional song - we are not that close, and dont want a mushy song that will make me cry... it will feel too awkward....
