Was hit from behind!

I remember this happening to someone last week, and today it happened to me!!!
Im sitting there getting ready to go and SMASH right into my little saturn comes a van. I go for my brake, foot slips and I slam into the van in front of me.
We all pull over, everyones fine (Im a bit stiff), cops come, and after an hour of sitting there we finally left!
PLEASE pay attention to cars in FRONT of you.
I was in between 2 vans and my little Saturn damaged the front of the car that hit me! I couldnt believe it!
Just be careful out there everyone! It Sux that people dont pay attention!

I'm sorry that happened. Glad you weren't badly hurt, but did you get checked out? Even the smallest bit of whiplash can affect your spine. Please get checked out if you haven't already. Take it easy.

Oh that was me who got banged up last week! I'm so sorry! Are you okay? Is your back alright? How's your neck? What's the damage like on your car?

So sorry to hear about your accident! but better to hear that you are OK

I would suggest going to a doctor just to be safe - sometimes you think you feel ok, and then days later you start experiencing some neck or back problems

Thank you so much again everyone. You all are really the best. I decided to stay home today because I am very 'stiff'. Slept with a Thermacare heating pad on last night (Those things are Aweosome).
Dont wanna be running around with 2 year olds 2day. I did take everyones advice and am going to dr. @ 145. I will keep you all posted.

I dont think the Dr. can do much, but I also have a cold, so I may as well hit 2 birds w/one stone and take care of that too.

Sounds like you were really hit hard! Good idea with the Thermacare and good luck at the doctor, I hope it's nothing more than a stiff neck! Take it easy and good luck!

Thank you again! Im also running my car through a car wash today to get all the sand and crap off of it and really look over my car. I really didnt see anything (sorry for repeating myself again) but the van that hit me was damaged! DH said he deserved it..he was even leaking antifreeze! Ive always wanted a truck, but I think now, I will stick w/my Saturn.

Back in 2001, I was driving my little Saturn (which I miss dearly) when a stupid cab driver coming from the opposite direction, cut right in front of me making a turn...needless to say, we hit head on!! My Saturn was totalled, and we (my aunt was in the car with me) were taken to the ER...I was ok, little bumps and bruises, and stiff for days. My aunt wasn't as lucky; her arm broke in such a way that it did nerve damage; after 3 surgeries, she's scarred for life and has permanent damage. She had to go on disability. So, even though your car may be banged up - its a very good thing you weren't more seriously hurt! Feel better soon!!

So sorry to hear that. DH said we can always replace a car, its you im worried about.
Im sure bumper has scratches and all that fun stuff, will find out after the car wash.
