Was I Supposed to Tip the Seamstress???

I had my final try-on for my dress last Thursday and everything was fine. After the seamstress was done and the girl was helping me get back out of my dress, seamstress came back to ask me again and make sure that everything was ok - which I thought was weird because she had already checked. I am thinking now, was I supposed to tip her?? I wasn't even thinking of that! In actuality, she barely had to do any alterations - just them hem. I have a corset-back dress so nothing had to be altered at all on the dress. Now I feel bad and I hope my dress is ok when I pick it up this week.

That is a good question. I did not think so but my final fitting is this afternoon and now I am wondering the same thing?? They charge so much already I did not think it was needed.

No kidding - for someone who needed no alterations except a hem, I still paid over $200 between the bustle and the hem!!

I never heard of this, but considering they are charging me $400 for alterations, I don't plan on it. Who tells them to order the dress a size too big anyway??? Such BS
