i think he was a player (or playa ) when i first met him but i whipped him into shape!!

When you say playa do you mean dating lots of girls at once? He didn't do that, but he spoke to girls online, had girls calling him etc...but spend all his time with me!

YES! Way back in the day, he was a total playa, but age and maturity changed all that so by the time I met him, it was all out of his 'system' and he was looking to 'settle down', It doesn't bother me at all, cause lord knows I wasn't an angel in my day....

Girls usually clinged to him when he used to go out with his boys 'single style'. I don't know if he was a playa in the lots of anonymous sex way. However, I definitely know he is not the same companion he was to his x'es, I think the girls in his past would be shocked of who he is now. He was effortless then without a care.

So 'playa' I don't know. That word connotates sleeping around, but he def had girls always interested in him, but he usually wasn't as interested back. He was saving his interest for me.

From what he told me, he wasn't a playa at all. He definitely had a lot of long-term girlfriends, and in between those gf's it seemed he never lacked for a date (this is a man who told me he never asked a woman out in his life.. they always would approach him and asked HIM out!) From what I know of his past, he was definitely a 'one woman at a time man' throughout his teens/20s.

I never had any doubts about us, and we were a solid couple from the get-go . And that's saying a LOT because I had serious trust issues regarding men, based on things that had happened in my past ....he was just so different

And while he had a few chickies on the backburner when we met.. of course he tossed them all aside when we started dating

Oh hell yes, when I first met him, I could see it..lol

It never really scared me, because even that first night I got a really good vibe from him, honestly I think players are few and far between, most guys (they never freely admit this, of course) want the same things we do, love, companionship and family. As with anything in life, it's usually meeting the right person at the right time.

Not really sure - But I'm sure he likes to think he was!

ETA - I guess I should add that this is not the person that I met and married - he went a little wild in his younger years from what I understand. But he was still a one woman at a time man.
