Rosie O'Donell had a show about gay and lesbian couples who adopted or had children and wanted to get married or go on vacation. It was a really nice show. They made a stop in the Bahamas and some of the people from a church group protested them coming. Some said since it is a tourist attraction they are welcome. I basically saw people who were in love and made the choide to adopt children and give them good homes.
It made me wonder if a lesbian woman came on this site and was open about the fact she was a lesbian and came looking for wedding advice. Would everyone welcome her on the Board?

yah it was sad that the kids got upset.. the protestors were crazy.. but alas they have a right to protest.. i dont agree wtih them doing it.. but they can.. its sad how theres stlil so many poeple out there that 'hate' just cause peopel aren't like them... im sure that will nevre go away.. we take for granted people having more open minds this part of the country( nyc area) caues theres sooo many diff. types.. im sure you go to middle america its still somewhat in the 'dark ages' for acceptance.. hopefully we'll all get along one day.. we can dream!
