Washing linens...

How often do you wash blankets, comforters, fabric shower curtains, window curtains?

I wash my bed sheets once a week, but not sure how often I should wash everything else. Don't want to be stinky, but don't want to overdo it either. Any input?

I usually wash my blankets, comforters, bed skirts and pillow shams before I put them away for the season (I have 2 sets...one for fall/winter and one for spring/summer). I will wash the blankets and comforters once during the season if they look a little grimy.

I wash my curtains once or twice a year and my fabric shower curtians once a year.

Sheets: once per week

Blanket, comforter, duvet cover: about once per month (our dog lays on our bed a lot)

Curtains: to the dry cleaner every spring, so once per year
